my question is why aren't the tight ends used close to the end zone in pass patterns? You would think Allen and rafdahl would be a db nightmare with there height advantage. Or doesn't coach frost trust them to far? I know stoll caught a td pass against Illinois

I’ve wondered the same thing. I think next year we may see some “twin towers” goal line formations.
It would take some practice to get the right routes/throws to fully take advantage.
If I were a coach I would try to pull a 7 ft basketball player away from the court to be a specialist WR.

I think you will see it more as we get to know the offense better. Also, Rafdal needs to catch the ball. Give it time, and I think you'll see more of the TE game.

This. Our best pass-catching TE will probably be Rafdahl, and he's kind of on the younger side right now. As the offense improves, I bet you'll see these guys do more, particularly next year.

I agree, all of the TE's who played are sophomores and younger. Once they and the coaches get more confidence they will see more balls come there way. I also think having guys like Morgan and JD by nature lead to less balls for the TE's.

I think Reimers has enough height and athleticism to be that type of threat in the red zone. Stoll has had a few nice catches this year as well. Some of our TE's haven't been reliable enough that we can trust that they're going to go up and catch the ball when we need them to in the red zone.

They have to be able to get open and against Michigan State that was a problem for all of our receivers most of the game. We tried to throw some to our TEs with little success.
