Fairly big golf story which even made the cover page of ESPN.com this morning.
If I'm not mistaken, Rory McElroy has been test driving TM sticks for awhile (though I don't know if he's officially committed to them yet). But for a reason I can't quite explain..... because it's obviously a perfectly legitimate brand......I found myself surprised to read in that same ESPN piece that Tiger had previously announced he was going to play Bridgestone balls.
I guess I'm sort-of assuming Titleist refused his number; and a ball-only contract wasn't something Callaway would have been interested. Besides, I suspect Callaway would have insisted a main shirt logo, which Tiger reserves for Nike.
