Mine said previously it's unlikely that there will be fans (surprise, I know). Seems reasonable to expect something similar to football.
I spoke with the office today. Assuming no fans, there will be 3 options: 1. Donate your $$, 2. Carry the payment forward to next year, 3. Full refund. Season ticket holders will obviously keep the same seats for next year regardless of the option selected.

A little twist is that many people only made the first payment. $$$$

Getting a refund because of this fine print:

Updated COVID-19 Disclaimer: If an event is postponed, canceled, or otherwise altered due to the COVID-19 pandemic, Rutgers Athletics has made temporary changes to the refund policy to provide options for both ticket purchases and RSF seat fees (if applicable).
Transfer payments as a credit towards a future purchase that season or the following season. At the conclusion of the following season, unused credits will be voided.
Change the allocation of payment into a tax-deductible athletic donation.
Receive a refund for the postponed or canceled event.

I'm 99% sure there will be fans allowed for the 2021-22 season... but why risk it?

This is why I donated a portion, but took a refund on the remaining portion, for football.
