I know its early and forgive the misspelled words.
- Mississippi fans are so jealous of us. Always have been, and now especialy that they see Leach is going to have firepower they hate us even more. Its because they know we are going to mop up with them. Not one fans has even tried to talk with me about our game.
- Mike Leach will win big here. Even Alabama fans are a little scared because they know the biggest weakness they have is passing teams.
- Alabama is the cheatingest program in history. Anybody can see it. I grew up in Alabama and know alot of Alabama fans. One of my very best friends thinks that they had 9 #1 classes in a row because the players go there to get "The very best coaching" I don't think they do. I think Saban wins on talent alone and gets outcoached rather often. There are only about 1 or 2 times a year that an opponent has the depth he has at anywhere near the talent level to beat them and he loses a pretty good number of those. With 9 #1 classes in a row, they should at least go undefeated at least twice in the last ten years, but they haven't. I think Gus coaches cirlces around him. And I think Mullen is better at development. And I think Leach might be the very best coach in terms of scheming. Saban has made more grocery baggers out of can't miss NFL QB prospects than any other human alive. Sure ,he puts players in the NFL, but that's because he recruits more top players than anyone. Those guys would go to the NFL if they played at Sister Mary's school for the poor.
- The Alabama legal department knew what the request was and knows what the term "Year to date total means." They lied to cover up a large payout to buy Bo Davis' silence. The NCAA hasn't investigated them because they are a cash cow, but it's obvious this is the case. That's why the NCAA needs to be disbanded. Don't even give the image that its on the up and up, because everybody that doesn't lick Nick Saban's balls know they are cheating like Hell.

- My dad passed away exactly one month ago today. I grew up a Georgia Tech fan because that's where he went and I grew up going to Georgia Tech football and basketball games. When they beat FSU to start the season, all I wanted to do was to call him and ask if he watched the game. And I went up to his mountain home in North Carolina that I had never been to when he was alive. Walking in, I saaw his hat hanging on the coat rack and almost lost it. I watched us beat the Hell out of LSU in his happy place and all I wanted to do was call him and tell him about it. When he was bedridden on Hospice care, I read the Lindy's to him with team analysis and schedules. I told him the schedules had changed and we played LSU first. He was aware that it was going to be a tough challenge. Still he was losing his mind. He asked me if the Democrats had won the election. You know, the one in November. He also had said he had a deer that he was going to put in my room from when I was growing up. He had never been hunting.
- Ben Howland doesn't get quite enough credit. He got us back in the tournament and has recruited good players to get us back. He inheerited Rick Rays teams. Are there better coaches out there? Sure, but he has done a pretty good job. Worthy of at least not getting fired. Anyone who wants to fire him needs to go back to the end of the Rick Stansbury time a realize what can happen when a pretty good coach leaves. You might be left with Rick Ray.
- John Cohen messed up the first football hire in Moorhead and we squandered the best talent we've ever had. But he made up for it with hiring Leach. And I was wary of Lemonis, but he has done really well. I think John knows baseball really well and we should trust his judgement on that. Football and basketball though - we need to pony up to get and keep good coaches. And it seems like we are going to do that. At least with Leach.
- F Mississippi fans. F the whole program. We are better than them in football, baseball, and basketball. And academics. And job salaries.
