I was looking at some of the garbage brackets where crap teams come out of or where Duke prospers and noticed that Villanova is usually a common denominator when given a one seed or two seed.
Granted they won it all last year but look at this.
2017-1 seed, lost in second rd
2015-1 seed, lost in second rd
2014-2 seed, lost in second rd
2010-2 seed, lost in second rd
2017- Will produce a terrible team to the FF
2015- Meant Duke got to play Mich State for their semi
2014- Propelled UConn's national title run
2010- Gave Duke a cakewalk to the final four in their region

I thought Arizona, Villanova and Gonzaga were threats on that side of bracket. May be down to 1 tonight. Won't bother me.
I hate the geographical pod system because the west coast sucks. All of us are all lumped in with each other. Just look at what the West looks like nearly every year.
Baylor versus Gonzaga to play the winner of UCLA/UK/UNC/KU in the Finals.
If that happens, don't even bother watching the championship game because whoever wins the Kansas/UNC/UK/UCLA game will blow them out.
We could seriously get Gonzaga vs Wisconsin for one side and the other side gets Kansas/UNC (probably).
I seem to remember, in 2015, UK stomping West Virginia's guts in by like 40 points in the Sweet 16 and then barely winning by the skin of their teeth against Notre Dame in the Elite 8 and then getting beat by Wisconsin in the Final 4. I hate to use our team as an example like this..but it wouldn't surprise me if we see something similar with Kansas. And crowning them already is ridiculous.
Yes it is Bev. I'm going to pay for this in the morning though, lol. It's March madness, so it's worth it but I'll be sleepwalking at work.
This is what I've been talking about that people don't get. Duke in the same regions and brackets with Oregon, Villanova, and Gonzaga aren't mistakes. You'll never see UK get that draw. It's almost clockwork at this point. The Villanova championship doesn't take away from those facts. Duke is most likely to succeed in any given year with that road. As would Kentucky be. As would UNC.
