I really hate this Kansas team. I hope they lose.
And as much as I dislike WVU, I'm still bothered that Gonzaga is going to the E8 because they are massively overrated.
It's just insane that we have ended up with the hardest bracket yet again even though we had a legitimate claim for a one seed and in actuality, deserved it more than UNC did. Our bracket is even more difficult than the 2014 bracket.

I've always bought into kenpom but thought he had to be overrating St. Mary's and Wichita State because of their performance against a bad schedule. I only became nervous about the WSU game when St. Mary's gave Arizona a real test the night before.
ya know.......we've been wondering about this, thinking whether or not it's adjusted property for SOS.
At least this year, I think it was pretty accurate no matter what happens to Gonzaga next round
Hopefully Arizona wins because that's the only team on that side of the bracket that has a chance to beat UNC, Kansas or UCLA if we lose.
yeah he made it really simple.......you just subtract the numbers.
Tho it won't tell you a whole lot I guess. Most of the numbers fall directly in line with the Vegas line.
The fact the two agree so much make me a believer in the system.
Tho u do get some differences like Friday tho........we are a 2 point favorite in Kens system but a 1 point underdog in Vegas.

UVA really tanked at the end of the season. I'm thinking their high rating is based on where they started early in the season and not where they ended lol

So on a neutral court the 10th ranked team would be favored by 2 points.
Those are per 100 possessions though. You have to adjust for the expected tempo based on the two teams' tempo numbers.
By luck, officiating, and admittedly great talent.. It feels like it's kansas' year.

KU spreads the floor better than anyone in the country. They have controlled the game by scoring from every position but the 5 spot and pressuring the athletically challenged Boilermakers.
To beat KU you must be able to keep their guards out of the paint and close out hard on their shooters. On offense you must make them pay down low.
Purdue doesn't have the horses to stay with them.

.. Yet at the same time.. You knew this was such a bad matchup for purdue.. Surprised this isn't a 30pt blow out..
Looks like only teams with good guards are going to have a shot against Kansas. Not many teams can say that. Kansas vs UNC/UCLA/UK final four game is going to decide the real winner.
kansas looks like champion team. i don't see us standing a chance if we even get near them. but ill try and stay positive
