There's roughly a 40% chance of rain. It can change multiple times before then, of course.

But we've not seen this Leach MSU offense operate in the rain yet. How do you see a wet night impacting the two teams in the Egg Bowl?

Not just wet, but cold and wet.

Been wondering myself, but Washington State had to have had worse weather over the years.

You would think it favored the rushing team more, but maybe the short pass game still works and there is decent enough weather that a longer pass is still a threat.

I think it all depends on timing and amount of rain.

Saying "40% chance of rain" its pretty vague.

Will was 19/30 for 148 yards and 1 TD that day. Can’t compare the type of QB he was then and now but it does make you wonder how difficult it’s gonna be with cold wind and rain directly in your face.

It's up to 70% now. Models have been trending to a steady light rain the last couple days. Pack a poncho.

WTVA app says 50% day and 40% night, high 63' low 32' so game temp probably high 40's

The rain will be mostly in the afternoon. Light shower possibility in the evening. The front will pass thru before 5 so it will be getting cooler but should be slim chances of rain during the game. PS...I will be carrying a poncho and a coat

"Head coach Mike Leach said it was wind, more than rain, which might make an impact on a quarterback’s ability to throw the ball. But either way, the Cougars would not stray from their usual methods."

I’ve always heard that DB’s hate the rain more than anyone else. They have to change directions and read and react. The WRs know where they’re going. I think it would benefit MSU, unless the cold impacts Rogers touch or feel.

I don’t think Ole Miss can line up and run on MSU, especially if MSU knows it’s coming. Our OL has been really shaky in the run game the last few weeks.

State's meteorology school only shows a 20% chance of rain. I'd trust them over

those clowns at the weather channel.

If there is just some light rain and calm winds, it won’t impact anything. If there is heavy rain and winds, weather would be a big factor.

Based on what I see weather will be okay but definitely something to monitor.
