Anyone see the latest forecast for Saturday? Not looking good. Rain and thunderstorms before pm hopefully moos has plan b ready to go

My app is currently showing rain overnight on Friday/Saturday with rain dissipating and ceasing 3 hours before game time.
That said, we should let the air out of their bus tires after they arrive just in case.
Fortunately, it is not a night game, but an obnoxious 11:00 AM start. Plenty of time to wait out any storm front. With any luck, the game will get postponed to 2:30
This game will get played on Saturday. The big advantage of the 11am game is you have an 8 hour window to get the game in.
I believe it was around 2007 (was Callahan's last year)I worked for a local tv station. I think huskers had 5 straight at home to start season and it rained every dang game. Just miserable on the field
It'll change. I will just do an extra bbq session or two in the meantime, or make it a point to drive a few extra miles before then. No problem.
I saw that. Frost must have some weird voodoo with 1st games of the year. Didn't he have his first game at UCF canceled because of a hurricane?
That was the GT game if I’m not mistaking and I think it was the second or third game that season.

Football is an outdoor sport it should always be played in many different conditions. Here’s hoping we go to A Grass and mud quagmire. And quit acting like a bunch of sissy’s..What Football player , doesn’t enjoy kicking A$$ in the rain. Bring it on Mother Nature. Big RED football is back baby! If the lighting strikes it means we need to stay low and keep the ball on the ground. Run the gawl dang ball Frosty GBR!!

Increasing rain chances through the day on Friday as another upper
level shortwave moves out of the Central Rockies. Instability
should be limited Friday behind Thursdays frontal passage. This
should reduce the thunder potential, and make this mostly a rain
situation. With the clouds and rain around, high temperatures
will likely top out in the mid/lower 70s.

and subsidence takes over. Confidence in the forecast for
Saturday is moderate.

Might be some cancellations for games played in FL this Saturday.. nasty tropical storm on the way, not quite a hurricane, but could be pretty ugly if it doesn't weaken.
Right, the issue last year was it was a night game, time became a factor. This is an 11 am game, if it is delayed worst case they can wait until later or evening if need be. I would be surprised if it is canceled.
They could probably kick off around 8pm and still be ok, so a 9 hour window to kick it.
Yes I’d say maybe from Belevidere Bruning Daykin Alexandria area anywhere’s from 1.50”-3” heard Hebron only had.25” and really sharp lightening, couple places had lightning damage
