Mississippi State’s David Mershon was drafted in the 18th round by the Los Angeles Angels in this past weekend’s MLB Draft. Normally a player taken that late with eligibility remaining would return to school, but Mershon appears to be giving real thought to beginning his profressional career. Brian Hadad and Robbie Faulk weigh his decision and look at what the Diamond Dawgs would look like with or without him.
