Well, after returning from my regular monthly shock treatment today, I realized our solution:
After Alabama wins yet another national championship later this year, Saban will get bored, and decide to restoke his inner fires by leaving 'Bama to take over some moribund program to show that he still has the magic. Voila! Welcome to New Brunswick, Nic.

Maybe the next HC who will turn RU FB around is not a FB coach at this time. Maybe he is playing pee wee FB as a player this season?

WVU paid for their weight room almost entirely on Former players in the league. Brice Irvin wrote and check for $1 million after his second contract. My HS re did their weight room from NFL guys donating their super bowl checks. It can be done. RU has A LOT of players in the league.

Isn't America great when folks can tell everyone else how to spend their money to make up for bad decisions..I think most boosters would rather spend the money on capital improvements to the school or athletic department and not a check for Coach Ash to move on.

Big difference in asking donors to pony up 9 million for dead money.

How Did Rich Rod do in his last 2 stops (UM and AZ)...move on..

He did more with less at WVu, he runs a system. He is the offense. That's what RU needs. He did ok at AZ but had an affair

Rich Rodriguez... he runs his system.. he recruited NJ regularly with wvu. I'm sure he'd get the o going
the defense would be worse . He gave up 35 ppg his last year at michigan

It’s over folks I have been an avid fan since 1980, with the current state of the university it’s make up goals and interest, It is over. If it has not happened yet, With us giving up everything Schiano built, its over. The university in its current state will never allow what Schiano and Mulcahy did and had to do to build a program happen again. Rutgers in its current state does not represent NJ. It’s a liberal bureaucratic nightmare. It’s not conducive in its current state to building a Football power house. It’s over find something else to do with your time. I have.

Knowing Rutgers, it will be one of these five guys:

1. Kyle Flood: Show cause is over and he can come back to finish what he started.

2. Darryl Hazel: He did beat Kyle Flood.

3. Norries Wilson: Well the pressers would be livelier.

4. Terry Shea: He did develop one qb, which is one more than Ash.

5. Art Briles: Just let the Middlesex County Sheriff's Department house his recruits.

My dark horse. The OSU DC. Granted he has never been the HC of a power five team but he is from NJ and understand our culture and our fans.
Art Briles underestimated his offensive system... he didn't need to Jimmy's and Joe's to win.

RichRod was 30-48 in conference play between Michigan and Arizona. He is definitely a bright offensive coach, but the luster wore off that side of the ball quite a bit when everybody else in the country caught up to what he was doing and how to defend it better. He was a true innovator that helped show the power of the spread option rushing attack. He just hasn't changed as the game has changed and his perpetual inability to have a defense torpedoed his success.

Rich Rodriguez would be a great choice. I thought his stay in Michigan what's unfairly short... he's never coached in the talent rich state before.

sigh...

Rodriguez's former administrative assistant filed a multimillion-dollar claim accusing him of sexually harassing her and creating a hostile work environment for years. Rodriguez was fired on January 2, 2018 after a three-month internal investigation by the Arizona Wildcats.

Rich Rodriguez was fired due to the climate and the direction of the football program. False allegations were made by a former assistant who couldn't even provide the University with with information text correspondence that she claimed proved her allegations to be correct.

Name the coach who is going into the homes of the Top 20 N.J. players and convincing them to play here. He's already guaranteed $20 million before he warms up the CTS. We already saw how an ex NBA head coach and alumnus recruited Mens Basketball. This is going to be an extremely difficult hire and hopefully not some big name extending his career. $$$$
