Man your love of this clown is comical. He has 8 four stars, because that’s all he recruited. Comparing this Minnesota team to the 90’s Nebraska teams? Are you ****ing kidding me? They aren’t even a Pelini team. PJ hasn’t accomplished **** at Minnesota, same as the guys before him, as you well know. And winning without 30 players? Buying more of Pj’s nonsense. They were down like two guys from the 2-deep and barely beat a good awful Nebraska team, that lost to everyone. If Nebraska wants to get back to being successful we need a real coach, not a used car salesman.

Who's fault is that? Dude apparently can't recruit at an elite level. He's been there 5 years. His recruiting is on par with Wisconsin and Iowa's and he develops reasonably well, so I'll give him that. He gets down votes for being a weirdo overall.

Fleck was on top of all the 'best coaches' lists after our 11-2 season. But immediately Covid halted recruiting. Worst possible timing.

Then the ridiculous Covid half-season saw lesser coaches surpass him on those lists.

But he bounced right back last year...and now even moreso this year it appears. So hopefully we get that well-deserved recruiting bounce soon.

Im not “suggesting” anything. I’m an stating facts, like his winning percentage, etc. I am saying that he isn’t a victim of only having 8 4-stars, as he recruited the whole roster. It is no harder to recruit to Minnesota than places like Iowa and Wisconsin, other than having a weirdo coach no one would want their son to play for.

Fleck has definitely elevated Minnesota. We mostly don't like him because he's such a self-aggrandizing weirdo.

But, I talked to a guy today whose grandson is on the roster. He claims the players love him. I think he's got a good position in Minnesota and won't be moving anytime soon.

They won 9 games the year before he came to town. I am just stating facts and the fact is he took over a stable program consistently winning 8 games a year and hasn’t changed much. I’m glad you are happy with him and can tolerate all his selfish BS. But there is nothing there to support him being one of the best coaches in the country, that’s just silly, the guy hasn’t even won the weakest division around once yet.
