I don't know how many games Spencer is going to have where he starts off 0-7 from the arc. MSU was also uncharacteristically hot, with 4 starters all shooting 60% (I mean, Hoggard's a 30% shooter and he hit 3-5).

I was surprised how much we were still in it for much of the game given how poorly we were shooting threes and how many blown layups we had, and given how unconscious MSU seemed from range.

Going to have off games, and going to hit teams having on games.... and sometimes those things will line up.

I don't usually expect us to outshoot an opposing team from outside, but this performance was surprising.. As has been frequently stated, if Cam is cold we're usually in trouble... There are currently 300 D1 teams that are shooting better than RU from 3 on the season. Take away Cam's stats, and we would be shooting 26.6% from 3, ahead of only one of the other 363 D1 teams.. Cam is at 43.9%, and everyone else is shooting under 30% with the exception of Paul at 39.3%, but he's only taken 28 threes so far, making 11. Comforting to know that Gavin is coming next season.

Penn State is currently ranked 9th in the nation in 3 pt shooting percentage at 39.6% as a team, and hopefully our defense and the RAC can put a damper on that.

You can quibble with who takes them at times, but we take the 326th most threes. There's not that much room for cutting back on threes.

Pedd State is not a particularly tall team.

Question with Omoruyi in this game is his perimeter defense. He'll be chasing around Lundy mostly at 6-6/219, who like to put up shots from range.
