Three MSU commits make baseball Dandy Dozen

They are Jonathan Holder- a 1B/OF/P from Gulfport, Will Cox a pitcher from Amory, and Brandon Woodruff a OF/P from Wheeler.

The only Mississippian that we signed that didn't make the list was Jacob Lindgren, and I feel like the Clarion-Ledger was off base on that.

But maybe I'm biased.

They have a Jr pitcher we have to reel in this Spring and Summer also

He actually started pitching for Gulfport as a freshmen. Everyone will know his name by this time next year, and I do agree- we have to get him. Last I heard, we're in pretty good shape with him.

he looked better than Graveman or Girodo did last year. Is he going to be mostly pitching or playing outfield here?

I think he will be a corner outfielder/relief pitcher for us.

And yeah- I would say he is better than Girodo and Graveman at this stage for sure. Woodruff made the Under Armour All-America Game at Wrigley Field this past year as a pitcher.

the Head story and some of the others Polk turned away will probably piss me off another 10 years

You could put together a team of guys that Polk turned down and they would beat the team that Polk put together out of his camp.
