Not saying a poor man can’t feel more content and proud than a rich man.

Point is, they are not equal schools in reputation, academic & research resources and opportunities, and intrinsic reward.

I'm not saying going to Harvard won't open doors for you that Rutgers won't, but this is being way overestimated for a top level student. It's a much bigger difference maker for the good to average students.

Nothing shabby about UCLA’s Samueli School of Engineering . Excellent ranking , nice campus , great looking women and men, close to the beach, fantastic weather , great sports and a perfect fit for a Rutgers grad student to continue to explore the multitude of opportunities which abound In his home state. Good for you Myles Johnson.
