I'm getting the feeling Frost is retained. I, as a fan who pays money for tickets, apparel, etc, would be ok with it on one condition:

Alberts requires him to fire the offensive assistant lackeys, hire real St coach, go after portal kicker and QB, and perhaps give up play calling that should go to new oc.

I'm just skeptical if we could actually get anyone worth a damn knowing the seats hot already. If Scott says no to any of this, then can his *** on the spot no questions asked. I'd much rather just move on already and build off of what little we do have going for us as far as roster depth goes. Guess we'll see how next two weeks goes...

Scott has to understand the business side of winning. Your friends arent always the best people to get your over the hump.

I have a feeling that Austin would have been fired already if he weren't, himself, a former Husker. And I think Mario has been with Scott since his Northern Iowa days.

I wouldn't require anything of Frost, but if he isn't planning to do these things already... bye bye.

Many have said that we couldnt get anyone to come here due to the hot seat.

Arent most assistant contracts only a year anyway?
Plus I think an ST guy could come here and with decent talent via the portal, walk away with a nice resume booster. “Improved ST ranking by 60 places”

We are probably screwed though

Fire him or keep him this is the first time in my 33 year old life I told my wife I would go shopping with her during a game. The stadium is showing that as well.

If Trev has to Force Frost to make big changes, Frost should be fired immediately.

You missed a heck of a game. The stadium looked as full as usual to me.

As depressed as I am, I could never go there. Good for you, that is some serious depression.

That red welt on Scott Frost’s forehead from banging his head against the wall just keeps getting bigger and bigger. I don’t know anything about Adrian Martinez the person. I am betting he is a wonderful kid and a thoughtful person. I bet if you take Adrian out to a football field or to a gym in just shorts and t-shirt his athletic skills are amazing. Off the charts. However, when the ball is snapped Adrian has shown he has trouble quickly breaking down what is going on around him, process that information and then perform successfully. So I think if Scott comes back next season it is time to say goodbye to Adrian.

Totally agree. If Alberts has to tell Frost to do anything it won't work.

I would tell Frost that I need to see his plan to improve right after the season. If there weren't substantial changes he would be gone. If he came in with a solid plan (he wouldn't) I would be open to him staying.

Frost was hired to run his offense. You really think he's going to give that up?
He should if he wants to stay so bad as he claims.

Don't even need to get rid of his offense. Just nuke him being able to call the game

I'd love a new coach. But if BoB is the guy in the cross hairs as has been rumored, I'd ideally rather keep Frost with changes mentioned in my op. I thought BoB could be cool at first, but ultimately he'd be more pass happy than we've had with Frost. I actually like Frosts offense in concept and think it should work here in this conference just fine with modifications. He just can't call a game. Let someone more qualified in that dept do it.

Most coaches look for a weakness to exploit in a defense and when they find something that works, they call it over and over again until the d proves to stop it by commiting to weakness elsewhere then try exploiting that subsequently. Frost: "oh that really gashed the defense... Let's call something completely different and see if that works just as well".

85000. Surprised it was that full but it was frickin Ohio State. Top 5 team. Should have been 92000+. Tickets were going as cheap as 10 $$. Nothing less than face value Should have bought the worst tickets.
