I heard Palmer wasn't walking, but he could certainly declare early for the NFL draft.

Palmer definitely needs to come back for a year. It’s was 50/50 after the Purdue game but now he’d be foolish to declare. He just put 3 pretty awful games on tape. Blame our QB play but he was getting shutdown by Illinois before CT went down. Teams realized how to defend him, you muscle him and push him around. Treys got to work on breaking out of that and he can and definitely will. That’s why next year will be so important to him.

Will that be at Nebraska? 🤷‍♂️ he will go where ever Mickey is

Also note that there’s some correlation to Treys drop in play the further we got a way from Mickey being the position coach

Had more to do with the QB injuries and defenses keying on him than Mickey’s change in duties.
