Time for the kids to put on their big boy pants. Gotta grow up fast. They’ve both been in college for multiple years. No excuses.

As bad as it is and NU likely loses today with or without Casey, if they can get him nursed back to decent health by next weekend, it could make the Michigan game less of a slaughter.

This game is a tossup if he plays. Minny lost at home to Purdue by more than we did there, they were manhandled by Illinois and our game would have gone down to the wire with CT. Michigan will be a bloodbath either way, I would rather have him today.

In all likelihood, the Michigan game is going to be a slaughter with or without Thompson. Almost wonder if they shouldn't just sit him until the Wisconsin game to try and get him healthy to finish out the year versus risking further injury against Michigan

It seems like they are playing it safer with him, in contrast to Frost with AM. Thompson said he was ready to go the other day but coach obviously has said no. It’s a good call protecting the player in a lost cause of a season.

Really wish they would give Harrberg a shot, nothing to lose except looking stupid if he does well.

Agree totally, I’d rather he just play against Wisky and Iowa now. No Meechicken please!

F that. If he’s healthy, give it a go.

Dont think it would have made much of a difference CT cant block for himself

We would have rolled their ***, are you kidding. Defense pitched a shutout the first half, receivers open all over the field and Purdy can hit the broad side of a barn.

After watching the game I agree we would have won convincingly. I posted that at 10:40am. Who knew the D was going to play that well? Also the O line probaby played well enough to win even with the struggles at tackle.

Bottom line MJ is not the guy. TA needs to find who is and get them here. I hope its someone familiar with offensive and defensive line play.

Frustrating day, all around.
