5min of game film would tell you to attack the bulldogs through the air. ER did their homework. It’s an uphill battle for the dogs
Yep. Go up big through the air, and run out the clock in the second half. Our offense not good enough to make comebacks yet. Too vanilla with the run.

Good news is think we have two good QBs and RBs returning next year. Not sure about WR and TE. Hopefully offensive line and defense have some good kids coming from JV and middle.

Good game Thomasville. Robinson and Carpenter put on a show. Felt like it was closer than the scores indicated especially in the 1st half. Sphincter tightened immensely when Revelle went down (qb) and game may have turned out very differently had he not returned. ER defense has not looked that out of sorts the entire year but seemed to have gotten it together at halftime. 2nd and 49 you don’t see that one often. 🤣 Thomasville was a mighty fine looking team. Maybe we can do it more often down the road.

Dogs fought hard and offense played better than I expected. In the end we were too banged up and just couldn’t hang in a shootout. ER’s running back is a stud!
His older brother played on defense about six years back. I remember when baby brother was born. He has turned into quite the handful now as you said.

Always a goal of mine sir. Did you enjoy your game? I saw final.
Yes sir. Damn, we have depth! Hopefully it can congeal into a good team. If Hubert can manage the playing time, we can be special. Big IF.
Though I was a football manager, I confess that my true love is the round ball. I know that yours is a different sphere, but there’s room for all of them for a true sports fan.

Outstanding performance from ER.

Cats came out and flat controlled the second half. They did a great job clogging up the tunnels so the bullet trains couldn't shoot through them. ER went to work on the ground. Great hard-nosed running, once again, by Lucas Smith.

I'd be lying if I said I wasn't nervous that first half. Kevin Robinson and Keshaun Carpenter are, by FAR, the fastest players I've seen all year. Robinson looked like prime Carl Lewis flying down the middle of the field. I was having flashbacks of James Summers watching Carpenter just shoot by would-be tacklers. Kept thinking "Is ER going to get "Page'd"?

Fortunately, ER was able to take advantage of T'ville's achillies heel. Carter Revelle found some holes in the Bulldog secondary and threw two lovely TD passes to give the Cats some cushion.

Gotta give a shoutout to Adonye Herbert and Cade McCallum. Herbert had a huge pick in the red zone that first quarter. McCallum did a great, great job filling in for Revelle on that one series.

Thomasville is a few weapons and a pass defense away from being an extremely dangerous team. I would've liked to have seen them with their regular QB healthy. Bulldogs held their own in the trenches. Linebacker Dameyon Gathings had a magnificent performance. It seemed like Ron called his name on every other play.

First great game to ER and best of luck the rest of the way! I'll be pulling for ya! Carpenter is the regular starting QB and he looked quick Friday but when healthy his speed is unreal!! Luckily for us him and Robinson will both be back next year along with the backup QB who is also pretty good. I'm interested to see how it works out and hope to play yall more in the future!! But never the less, Go cats!

When I watched the Pro Teem Sports broadcast on Youtube, they mentioned that Carpenter wasn't 100%. My jaw dropped when I heard that. I'd take him at 60/70% over almost every back in the PAC-7.

He hasn’t been 100% most of the year. He was the starter but gave way to 18 late in the season due to the injuries. Then 18 broke his leg so Carpenter had to go.
I don’t think Thomasville would have beaten ER even with everybody healthy. But without 18 we had very little passing game. Most of our athletes play both ways, so every injury is doubled. ER folks can relate to that, I’m sure.

Yeah the kid is special! And by no means do I mean for this to be an excuse for us losing to ER, I think they have a great team and feel the better team won Friday night and I'm definitely pulling for them the rest of the way! But I am excited to see carpenter, Robinson and the other Robinson(#18 the young backup qb) all healthy and hopefully on the field all at the same time!

See if everyone posted like this would be a great place to exchange thoughts. Exciting things lie ahead for Thomasville I think.
