I understand that your team doesn't understand what facts are but that's not my problem. Maybe you should blame your parents for the piss poor job they did raising you, but that is still no excuse for what you've become.
Both extremes of the political spectrum create their own facts. People at the extremes are driven by emotion, not logic. Unfortunately, both political parties are tending to the extremes. The lack of compromise between the parties coupled with the moves to the respective extremes means that we get less legislation that is based in logic or good math. It's a bad path for government to follow.
Which is why it's time for a divorce. Let's part ways, divvy up the assets and get on with our lives.
Or let's learn to work together again like we did numerous other times when our politics became polarized.

You do realize that democracy means that the will of the majority decides the path forward, correct? It sounds like you don't want to live in a democratic society. You want to live in some homogeneous conservative society.

They have to go through public comment period, draft a new plan that complies with Clean Air Act and all the law suits to follow. Yes, it's a proposal.
In the end, it won't impact much anyway. The trend away from coal was already established long before Obama signed this plan and all it did was codify what was already happening in the industry.
The coal industry will always be limited by a different policy-- Mercury and Air Toxics Standards (MATS) that are in stone and protected by enormous human/animal health data.
