Kyle Boone has secured his position as this year’s idiot with this article. He really ought to be embarrassed with his argument about the relative number of upcoming Kem Pom top 50 and 40 games remaining for RU. Isn’t the percentage of top 50 games remaining (75%) identical to the percentage of Kempom top 50 BIG teams we’ve played so far?

It gets better than that. Last week, CBS ran article with the same guys predicting teams outside the NET top 50 that will dance. Kyle Boone picked... Michigan State. Granted we hadn't smoked them yet when he made that pick, but their chances don't look great right now. They are 8-7 (2-7) with eight games on their schedule at the moment.

I don’t have Twitter but someone should really call this moron out. he’s a CBS analyst. It’s big time media and what he said about us being about to be exposed with tough Kempom opponents is just completely false. We’ve played top Kempom teams all season and the schedule on paper gets easier not harder.

If he wanted RU as his NET 40 pick to miss the tourney fine. But at least make a credible argument which would have to involve the complete opposite commentary from what he said.

I’ll take a stab. RU is in a good spot right now but 5 of 8 games remaining on the a schedule are against Q2 and Q3 opponents. Thus far - RU has done a very good of avoiding bad losses with only one Q2 loss and no Q3 or Q4 losses. They need to be careful, as losing too many of these remaining games will tank their NET in a hurry. There.
