I like homerism but all 3 sound like they should be doing a high school game. Listen to other B1G broadcasts and they don't sound like this. Every big play they sound like schoolgirls.

This was actually my complaint about Ray too a while back - he gets so excited sometimes that I don't even know what's going on. I think Ray has great insight and like him a lot, but I also think he needs to tone it back a little and remember he's on the radio.

While not exactly the most professional, I'm all for it. Its refreshing to have someone who covers us be outwardly supportive.

You obviously do not listen to other broadcasts. They are all homers. I have the ability to get the games on XM and typically they use the Hometeam broadcast. Well last night was MSU vs Oregon and believe me you could tell those guys were from MSU.

THe color announcer can play it more straight, keep us informed of what is going on, give us stats, and sound professional, but for the Rutgers play by play guys, I want homerism. Their Grant calls were awesome. Disagree they sounded like a HS game.

And When Ray settles down. He is pretty good at telling us things that are happening in a way we can understand.

I thought that was the game. Sure there was a minute and change on the clock but WSU had to go a long way and get a TD not a FG to win. I have a shock and awe hangover today.

Are you kidding me? Don't let the facts confuse you. Every radio team sounds like this, including the Big Boys. For example, here is the radio broadcast from last year's Auburn Alabama miracle finish. How is this different from Ray's call?
