I wonder why Beshear is so hell bent on retaining the corruptocrats running UL?

Because there are laws regarding the replacement of boards and if he allows Bevin to do it with UofL's and put in his cronies, he could easily do it with UK... EKU... WKU... Etc. it would completely ruin any stability at these universities, because every governor would immediately deisband the whole board and put their own guys in place.

Well, if he broke the law.....

Ramsey made them all look foolish. He gets big buyout, stays on the board that committed fraud and loses nothing. The new board can be disbanded and Bevin is left holding his wang.

What a friggin mess.
isn't the new board the old board? wait.

I like UL -- I have family who work there and/or attend it. Yes, it's a sensitive area for me and the generalizations of it here are idiotic.
So I guess you are ok with everything that has happened at UL? Most UL fans and alumni that I know are embarrassed by the leadership at all levels. There has been to much "looking the other way" for the athletic department.

Only members of the GOP could take a situation where their guy broke the law and abused his power and use it as proof the the other guy is corrupt. Lol
That sounds like the presidential race of 2016. More Trump than Hillary, but they both make me fear the next 4 years. UL stuff is just future stars in the BS.

This UL stuff sounds like a struggle for BIG MONEY in the commonwealth. Can't see any moral issues for the focus of this coming from the voices.

Andy Beshears was the lead attorney for the Yum Center Arena Athletic Authority. His law firm naturally donated over a million to the UL Athletic Dept.

Why you guys pissing on Beshears, while your NEW Gov. Bevins is pissing on you?

Bevins is running this place. It is a different lube. Feels good right? You might be allergic.

Idiotic? Are you delusional? I have clients that are big donors and attorney's who are apart of ongoing investigations that have nothing to do with stripper gate. When the foundation report gets combed over along with the FBI findings come back and talk some more.

If you think nothing will happen then bet me $1000. Let's pay pal it or we can meet at Old Henry and Gene Snyder to square up.

You don't think the comments about burning it down are idiotic?

It's a zoo up there.

They really suck at firing people, though.

I wish I could lose my job for $690,000 and still have back up cash at my former employer's foundation.

For $690,000 I could go ahead and retire today......... 7 years early.... Heck, at my current salary I'd be working till sometime in 2028 before I earned $690,000.

Candid fans of other schools are usually welcomed here. Different than the boards UL fans frequent where even the smell you are UK fan will get you banned or so I hear.

I appreciate your candor.

Well, I'm a UK fan in sports. But after sports, there are fans of a school? Really? Somebody roots for a Chemistry department? Hopes the Allie Health school of the other school falls on its face?

Most call it being an alumnus of a particular school while being a fan of another schools athletic department where you dreamed to go to school at, but somehow didn't get the opportunity to.

I was born a fan of UK, but went to college at SIU. Not even sure they have any teams.

Yep. Some type of dog. Never once stepped foot on campus though. Degree classes were available through the Navy Campus program in my desired degree field. UK ,unfortunately, didn't offer any at that particular campus location. Free education still rules, regardless who's name is on it.....besides Louisville of course.

Isn't that where Brucie Pearl coached many moons ago and actually won a title or two? I could be wrong tho

I stand corrected it was Southern Indiana
