fRANKFORT, Ky. - A judge on Friday put a temporary halt on Gov. Matt Bevin’s order to abolish the old University of Louisville Board of Trustees but left intact former President James Ramsey's resignation.
Franklin Circuit Judge Phillip Shepherd's 22-page order grants the temporary injunction sought by Attorney General Andy Beshear to restore university governance to its status before Bevin’s order.
