Listened to the Out of Left Field podcast where they were calling all of these former players and it struck me that this title also provides validation for the careers of so many bulldog greats. Best way I can sum it up is it used to be said they played on some great teams in a great program but now it can be said they played on some great teams in a CHAMPIONSHIP program.

Glad to hear he's getting into coaching. One of my all time favorite Diamond Dawg P/LF/Pinch Hitters/Pinch Runners. Dude gave it all wherever he was needed.

I can speak as one of them and it absolutely does bring more validation. There's always been a "yeah, but they've never won it" hanging over us. Around the 7th inning Wednesday night I felt the weight starting to lift.

Honestly, I'm most happy for the fans. We have some absolute gems in our fanbase and this wouldn't have happened without them.
