I still have no idea what to make of this edition of the Cats. They could win it all or be one and done in the tourney. Neither would surprise me.
Is the identity really a 3-point shooting team, or is that just what the players are doing for now? One thing is certain, I definitely won't be gambling on any of the games.

Call me crazy, and I'm probably putting way too much stock in the win over duke, but when they're clicking these guards are awesome together. Skal got pushed around like a child by the worst plumlee, and UK still won going away, by double digits.
Small ball might be the key.

They can win it all if they have their meh games early in the tournament or the opponent is having an even worse game . Sometimes both teams play bad in the tournament and whoever sucks less wins . To win it all they would have to be engaged at all positions for the last three games . This team has a difficult time getting motivated , they step up for a high ranking opponent , hence the Duke game .

This is obviously a finesse team. The 3 guards have until March to learn to read each other and get Lee and Poy easy shots without turning it over. I can't see us winning 6 straight in the tourney unless Skal becomes a factor.

We are so bad on the inside this year that I have serious doubt that we make much noise in March-April.
You can bet we will be matched against teams with strong inside presence too. We absolutely were hosed as far as the brackets last year for overall #1. Big 12, ACC, SEC champs in our region! Not to mention Big 10 and PAC 12 to go through to make the NC game. Duke had what? Oh, Villanova and Gonzaga. My bad.

Lee and Poythress to play hard and SMART for 6 games? Would love it but I wouldn't be a buyer. AP has let us down too much. What a waste of athleticism and strength. I question his passion for the game. Obviously not a gym rat, handles and shot have not improved.
We do have good guard play, that could even become great, so we will have chances, we just need a take charge big to play hard rather than the IDGAF attitude.

I don't see us going in as any sort of favorite, but it's a dumb year. We aren't any worse than both recent UConn title teams.

I think if we play to potential we could make noise. That said, to win the tourney we have to play 6 in a row with some consistent execution and intensity. If we don't do that during the season it used to see how we will flip the switch. It would be amazing if they did
