We may still win, but even when we have better talent they always seem to let the other teams hang around. It's tiresome.

Carter has been a bum all year. Dudes shooting 36% from the floor and 30% from 3. He’s terrible.
He’s not a bum. He has just lost his confidence but he keeps shooting because that is the only way to get out of the funk. He will end up helping us out in the end.
Agreed. He has been missing some shots we absolutely have to make in order to truly be dangerous, but he recognizes when they aren’t falling, and does a good job going to the rack and getting good scores. The drive game tends to get his outside game going sometimes too.

I’ll finish by saying I like carter and hope he shoots 70% from the floor and 50% from 3 every game here on out. The team sure needs him to hit from outside off the bench.

Our team is too frustrating to watch, even if we win. I saw the last two minutes tonight, not because I was boycotting, I just had some work to do. It doesn’t mean crap unless we make the tournament. If we are on the bubble, I think Perry’s star power gets us in. I support the team, but I just can’t watch anymore. I watched the first 5 possessions of the second half when they played at the coliseum and walked out. I just can’t watch unorganized, roughshod basketball, but I wish us the best. Just make the tournament and I’m happy.
The team can be frustrating at times, but I think that’s part of the nature of the game sometimes. Vandy is a desperate team and they play tough. LSU just lost to this team, and they also played Kentucky close.
We just need to get out of this shooting slump and we will be fine.

That was the first game back for Nick and he played incredibly poorly that night. I think he had one assist and 8 turnovers. He is trying to learn to play point guard against some pretty good competition. He has gotten far better since that game and as he has gotten better, so has the team. He and the rest of the team try to play too fast at times, and it can be really hard to get these AAU stars to play as a team, but they are getting there.
Our only pure shooter is a poor shooter at the moment. It is our Achilles heel, we will struggle when Tyson isnt hitting threes. Tonight it didnt help that Woodard was short arming everything...to many curls at the gym.
You must have been throwing yard darts up in the air while we have played the last six or seven games. He has been our offensive spark in several games.
I missed the game to take the wife to see Stomp San Antonio. It’s nice to see that the idjits are out in full force while I have been away.

Carter is going to shoot 12-15 shots a game. It doesn't matter if he hits a shot or not. He's shooting 10 times.
If he makes 6+ we do well.
If he makes 1, we don't do well.
Can someone that has a deep understanding explanation why we just lost to one of the worst teams in the league....I mean, besides the obvious disparity in effort, execution, and coaching. For a potato brain like myself, it’s hard to see outside of the obvious and into the nuances that only a learned and seasoned fan could explain. My 2 decades of watching MSU hoops simply is enough experience (clearly), so the floor is yours. Let’s hear it.
