This team is flawed, but also good

BillyC! I agree. I think the rotations are too much, though. Mulcahy, as much skill as he has, is not an offensive threat on the floor.

When the team was at its best was when Myles Johnson was a force. I think he is battling a little injury.

Paul nailed a HUGE 3 during our comeback. Myles, IMHO, it’s confidence. Get it to him early and often against The Twerps and build it back up ASAP!

It seems like every game we play is really exciting, even the losses. Looking at it objectively, we will be a fun team to root for in the NCAA tourney.

Yeah, timing of shots is important. I agree. But still, for this year, there needs to be five offensive threats on the floor at all times.

Mulcahy will have plenty of time to shine here. I´d give his minutes to Young and McConnell.

Myles was severely outplayed by Smith at Maryland, finishing 2-8 (1-2 from the stripe) with eight boards and no blocks. Let's hope that motivates him to return the favor at the RAC. We are so much more dangerous when the big engineer is working it on both ends of the floor. I still believe he will be a monster before he is finished on the banks. Myles, you can do it! Go up strong!

Totally agree with both your comments and why I would be extra down if we don't make it.

Myles clearly looked like himself in the 2nd half. He blocked and swayed anything in the paint and owned the boards. He seemed passive for a few games prior and it could have been a ding: if he scores 8 and grabs 10 and alters or blocks 7 shots we are a much better team.

And agree with the OP. We will be fun to watch in the tournament.

Exactly..team is road tested in close games against higher ranked opponents. That is what statement means. Will be extra advantage at Neutral sites..we won’t be an easy out for any team we play, especially unfamiliar teams on a neutral court. We are also due to win a few of those games, so IF we get in, we could grab a win or two..

Again, we lost all of those road games and also lost at neutral sites to Michigan and St. Bonaventure. To me, being "road tested" means actually winning a game on the road now and then.

If you're a neutral observer, you probably look at Rutgers and see a team incapable of winning games away from the RAC. That's why I've never thought a 19-win RU team gets in despite the best efforts of some to bully me and others into adopting their biased point of view. It will take 20 wins to get an invite.

Inexperience will hurt us in the tourney vs a team who has been there. Who we are match upped with is huge.
