Need the double-bye in St. Louis. The NCAA will give us bad matchups regardless of seeding.

Not possible. Basic issues that can't be fixed. It was stated before the season we had no shooters. Thought we could overcome that with the magical "length", which is obviously a myth.
Basic basketball: can't shoot, can't win. That will not change. Cal knows this.

We won't make a deep run. Cal will make up another excuse to save the embarrassment of an NIT game in Rupp, and we'll get sent on the road in the first round to be Podunk U's court-storming game.

Not happening. This is one of the worst Kentucky teams I’ve seen in a long time, maybe ever. At least past teams that weren’t as talented played tougher and smarter. It’s a shame that a team as tall, long and talented as this team is to suck so bad. Hopefully it will be better next year, and it’s just a freshman thing. Diallo and Knox are the only ones who have a chance as first round picks. The rest should be back, but who knows. Cal has created a monster here with players leaving that have no business of leaving.

Look, our only problem is scoring. Earlier in the season we scoring fine. Don't get me wrong, we weren't an offensive juggernaut, but we scored enough. Our defense has improved greatly, our offense has gone cold. Everyone went cold at the same time. If they all went cold at the same time, they can all get hot at the same time. If that happens, watch out, this team will be tough.

I see a 20-11 finish in the regular season. Guessing a 9 seed in the tourney. Just being realistic.

It's not simply a matter of "going cold." The majority of the guys still don't understand what a quality shot is. Knox continues to take bad shots. Washington continues to take bad shots. Richard's took a terrible shot at a bad time today. Typically, if Shai shoots from the perimeter, it's not a quality look.

There is a direct correlation between "going cold" and taking bad shots.

Pre-game JWill and sad sack Seth said it has become apparent that this team is just what is. Not going to be any better. Hard to disagree although the Cats could easily have won tonite.

Painful. Everyone seems to be avoiding blame. The blame is clear and it’s Calipari. He makes more money in a day than some make in a year in other places in Kentucky. He needs to be re-evaluated. His days are close to over. His P. T. Barnum stuff has kind of run it’s course. It’s really beyond tiresome at this point.
