Cannot help but ponder the similarities-

"We have high hopes for Trevon Duval, but Tyus Jones set a bar that’s going to hard for many seniors to match, much less freshmen."
I agree with this line from the article.
I'm excited for the upcoming season....we have a ton of talent, but I don't see a Tyus Jones. Now, that doesn't mean we can't be great, because we can.
The major similarity between the two teams is they are both coming off of disappointment the year before. Tyus told Coach K that wouldn't happen his season and I hope the whole damn team is telling Coach K that too for this season
This x1000I have said it before, but will say it again- For one campaign Tyus Jones had as much impact as any Duke PG ever!

Quinn Cook is often a forgotten guy on that team (hell, the article mentioned Matt and Amile but not Quinn!) This is criminal.
I hope Grayson can be for this team what Quinn was for 2015 - a leader who took on the role he needed to take for the team to be the most successful. I was most happy for him winning it all.
Keep in mind when we look for "a Tyus Jones," we're not really talking about a specific tangible, but about how clutch he was, how he stepped up in the biggest moments. That's not really the type of thing you can know ahead of time. You can't duplicate it in practice. There may be a "type," but the game itself is the proving ground. And as that's the case, it isn't limited to a position. Maybe it'll be Carter.I'm excited for the upcoming season....we have a ton of talent, but I don't see a Tyus Jones.
