If they would have started Gebbia. If he and Martinez were as close as advertised, I would have gone with the older film room junky who had the locker room.

Is Gebbia going to block as well? Can he play defense? Can he play special teams without committing a penalty?

hard to say.. guys might have tried harder.. it's a team sport.. I still think there is something not right with Martinez in there, the team isn't right.. so is it everybody else, or is it the qb?

So does Purdue. Revamp the roster or not...nobody is watching this team and thinking they are well coached. Nobody.

No. But you could have said the same thing under Riley. And we all know how that turned out.
Riley beat Purdue in West Lafayette last year. I understand it was Riley's 3rd year and Brohm's 1st, but we are getting stomped at home by a 2nd year Purdue coach, albeit a good one. At some point our coaches are responsible for getting these players ready to play. We're 4 games in, and we looked by far our best the 1st game. That is on the coaches.
Riley there was never any hope. The guy did nothing ever. My wife is an OSU alum I know this for fact. Worst hire ever. He has killed this team
This is perhaps the biggest reason why they went with Martinez. The o-line is suspect, every decent to good coach who has coached football knows when his line is good or not. A running threat can make up for some of your o-line deficiencies.
