Why isn't it simply that Kansas made the clutch plays down the stretch and Duke didn't?

I hate K..........but players either make shots or don't

How did Duke underwhelm?...They finished exactly where their seeding predicted they would..they were a 2 seed and lost a close game to a 1 seed...I dont like Duke either but I bet they wouldnt have lost to K-State...

With the talent K had, how in the hell did he not even get a one seed?

Duke had WAY more talent than Kansas...

he had everything. Senior leadership, 2 straight classes of 5 Star talent & lottery picks. He blew a late game lead and stuck with a defense too long. Maybe it’s time he takes a different approach.

Agree. Didn't see much of the game but what little I did I never saw Bagley touch the ball and that's crazy. And that is with Azebuike out.

Said a couple of years ago when the dukies were in our face over their new found recruiting prowess that I thought that was a curse in disguise for Coach K as the pressure would start to mount on him to produce Trophies in return for their fans "giving up" their beloved multi year players. Even with their fans worship of K they only accepted the one and done holding their nose and only because they felt it would help them keep up with us and win championships. They will grow grumpy real quick when they start realizing they gave up their beloved history for nothing. (Prediction) Then K will grow even grumpier and sensitive when he starts feeling the mood change and will start hinting at an NBA job to shut them up. This starts next season when the pressure really ratchets up.
