Refs didn’t help... terrible pi call, roughing call. Nw only had one penalty in the game. A false start.
Yep, I have supported through all this. There is no excuse, there is no sugar coating it. This was on him. He needs to get things figured out and fast.

The whole staff needs to be beat with stupid sticks. The team plays like they coach, terrible when it matters.
Why not run some RPO after the inside kick? Why not tight end over the middle?
Frost lost me on this one. Not giving up on him, but not confident at this point that he can be above average in this league.

SO many coaching mistakes made today. Frost and Co are starting to quickly realize what worked in the AAC is not going to work in the BIG10. Time to go back to the drawing board coaches and figure out what you want to do.
I don’t blame him going for it. Have you seen our kicker? Our short yardage execution is atrocious. Our center and Martinez are atrocious in this situation.

Frost was awful, Refs were flat out dishonest, Chin was God awful, and this crap is of Biblical proportions.
Same. I had 100% faith in him. This loss is tough. I can't make up excuses for him on this one.

Agreed. So was UCF just a two season fluke or what has happened? What I am seeing on the field is just bewildering.

This is on frost offensively and the refs defensively.
McKenzie Milton. He bailed out this coaching staff a lot last year. UCF was still awful in terms of defense, penalties, etc.
This a bad football team. A bad football program now. Nothing else needs to be said. Bad across the board. Good teams find a way to win. Bad teams find a way to lose. It’s that simple. It’s not the refs fault.
Whenever a play needs to be made, whether it’s on defense, offense, or whatever, it isn’t happening in the clutch moments.
People should be pissed. This loss was bad. Really worst one yet to date. Everything needs to improve across the board. It’s really unacceptable.
No more hype. No more blaming refs. Hell, stop the damn press conferences. It’s time to shut up and start getting better.

As Heupel is proving. UCF has a ton of talent and maybe just maybe any coach could have did what Frost did? I still believe Frost is the best guy to attempt to turn this around. I think he and the coaching staff need to have a come to Jesus meeting, stop blaming everything on the players and take a look in the mirror. Figure out what they need to do differently. If they need top talent to get a win this is going to be rough.
I won't call for his firing yet, but I will ask him to pay back the 5 milllion dollars he hasn't earned.
I will say I would have kicked the FG... We didnt lose the game because of Scott's decision... Look at his thought process... Our D just gave up a 99 yard TD drive and the defenses body language was defeated... Pickering left 4 points on the field today and has missed half of his kicks this year... I do question is the conservative play calling after Northwestern got it to within 7 though....
I don’t know where to begin to explain how this loss happened. It is fair to ask whether Frost and his staff are in over their heads.
If we find out later that half the Nebraska team was shaving points, I wouldn’t be shocked. That’s as logical an explanation for this circus act as anything.

Thhe refs really did screw us on defense when it mattered, its no excuse its truth. If you cant see that you are a NW fan. But who knows what happens if we are smarter offensively.
I would have definitely used the kicker that misses half his FG and missed a PAT earlier. What could possibly go wrong? Also, after all the positive feedback HCSF received after the CU game about clock management and play calling, how dare he make NorthW use all 3 timeouts and put them on the 1 yd line?

Can we also stop calling plays where the center snaps it on the ground? Damn them coaches.

There is no doubt the ref are just looking for an excuse to call a penalty on us. I am not denying that. To say coaching had zero to play in this loss is just ignorant. There comes a point where blind loyalty is good. This is not one of them.
