I'm 45 years old and have hung on every pitch involving State baseball for as long as I can remember. Maybe it's the "due factor". Maybe it's the deep overall talent of our team. Maybe it's our experience or the team's "we won't take no for an answer" attitude. But something feels different this time around. I guess that feeling could change quickly if things don't go our way tomorrow night, but this group has had the "it" factor all year long. I truly believe no other team wants it more than we do. Combine that with being one of the most talented teams in the field and I love that recipe. We've already gotten the break that most champions seem to get along the way. And it was basically the first time we've needed one. If we play our baseball tomorrow night and go 2-0, I can't wait to watch the rest of this unfold.
