This is why Chit-Chat must shoot more threes

Chit-Chat was 5-8 from three last night, which is further evidence for why I keep saying she needs to shoot at least ten threes per game. I'd like to see that number as high as 15. She's by far the team's best outside shooter, so she has to be aggressive and fire away. Set screens, do whatever they have to do to make sure she gets her shots.

I also love CCW from 3, but 10 3s a game in conference play is a lot. The current league leader in 3PA per game is at 7.3. CCW is 18th in the league as it stands, and her 3PAs have gone up since the McCabe injury, as they should.

She's not just the best 3 point shooter on the team. At 47.6% she's the second best 3 point shooter in the country today.

15? Lol. Cmon my man. Nobody in the country is even averaging 10 attempts. I’m with you in that Jan needs to run way more action for her on pick and roll vs constant high low action. Shes a player. And running more pick and roll for with Ava or Hannah seems to be nothing but a plus for us.

I just think when you have one of the best 3-point shooters in the country, you should get her as many shots as possible. About three shots every 10 minutes doesn't seem like a lot to me, regardless of what anyone else's numbers may be. But we are in general agreement, so it's all good.

I agree to a point but it needs to be a "let the game come to her" type of thing when she is feeling it. Run set plays, run motion with screens, whatever but dont go with the overt "take more shots" thing
