OMG, the sky is falling! What will we do? Hahahahahahahahahahahahaha

You are going to get back to your roots and return to the place you should have never left......swallow your pride, tuck your buffalo tails between your legs and beg the MAC to let you rejoin them. Not likely they will be very receptive to that idea being as you've already bailed on them twice. In the event they turn you down you could go back to 1-AA or whatever they call it these days, you guys played for championships in those days. Either that or you could just take your bankrupt athletic teams to the Mountain East where you would truly be the "big boys" you'd like to be. With all that being said, I feel sorry for you too. CUSA has screwed you boys.

I agree we never should have left the MAC, said that 10 years ago...but this won't be a fatal case of the hiccups!

Then there's another alternative. Bus your team up to Morganhole every year. Take your *** whipping, collect a paycheck four times larger than CUSA is going to give you for all sports every year. It's the least we could do to help our little brothers out, and besides, it would be good for the state if we'd help fill your coffers instead of the WV taxpayers having to do it. We will even pick up your bus tab because we can afford to.

I like you Tony, but I respectfully disagree. Marshall football as you've come to know it is done. In my opinion Marshall ever trying to play on the big time level was a huge mistake. Maybe a good fit for the MAC, but when Marshall was playing for championships at the 1-AA level everyone in the state was a Marshall fan. These days, not so much.

We have the entire WV General Fund at our disposal....don't need the bus fare or the game! If you find the Nads to play home and home give us a call, we'll pay your bus fare!

Thanks but we could afford to fly down if we ever decide to go slumming and we wouldn't need the WV General Fund to pay for the flight. In fact we could even afford to give the Herd football team a real treat and pay for them to ride in an airplane, something they won't be able to do for long once the next check from CUSA bounces

Do you fly out to KU?

As a matter of fact YES, but it's hardly considered slumming when you are visiting a P5 college town........sorry you've never had that experience. But given the amount of money that CUSA is going to be putting in Marshalls bank account in the future, it's likely that MU will be going to a lot of P5 college towns - to take an *** whipping and collect a paycheck.

Scary part is Moo U wll spend more on flights, for just football, than they make from CUSA TV contracts. This doesn't count basketball, baseball, or Olympic sports. Away games for 1 sport will bankrupt Marshla....and that doesn't count the hotel rooms, meals, and assorted expenses. No more tax money from nearly bankrupt state of WV. No real revenue from ticket sales or concessions. No real alumni support. This is a meltdown of epic proportions. So sad to see them go.

But hey...they did get "others receiving votes" from Doc for a couple years so they got that going for them.....

You boys lost the last time you worked up the courage to show up in Athens! Anybody can lose on a given day.

I like all my delusional cousins....always attempting to convert you boys from the dark side. Never fully grasped why it bothers/scares you boys to share the stage with MU.
