I'm not happy with things, but Cal wasn't trying hard enough or getting the results here at the end, either. 2021 was bad enough (historically bad, only forgiven because of past winning) but then he kept failing in tournament games.

The fact he is winning some at Arkansas on some kind of personal vindication tour only makes him look worse, to me.

This isn't about Cal. This is about finding the right coach for our future. That wasn't Cal, and it isn't Pope.

Getting rid of Cal at the time we did was 100% the right call....and I would not want him back. The mistake was in the replacement we hired

I DGAF what these entitled players are saying about our program. It was Cals time to go... Give me a f'n break.. We lose in the 2nd round and a bunch of ya'll are experts at coaching choices... Dude lost with incredibly superior talent to nobodies in the first round...

Still want the UK Cal back? He literally sucked the last 4 years and some would say before at in game coaching. Pope is the guy until he isn't.
