The pieces were in place Thanksgiving week. A change was being made. You all know it.

Then MSU beats UM by the slimmest of margins but in a dramatic and hilarious fashion and Keenum gets emotional. Tells John to give Joe more time, but with a list of stipulations. Cohen has to do what his boss is instructing him to do.

Then more evidences of poor discipline and culture reared their heads. Keenum and alumni are embarrassed. Team looks ill prepared in the MCB. And the heat turns up. WAY up! And Keenum then tells Cohen to make the move.

Maybe Cohen could have handled the last five days better. Maybe he's done the best he could. But he was making the right move and then was forced to delay and now try to make chicken salad out of a big pile of chicken turds.

This mess is on Keenum.

That weird dude does tend to have quite the ego and likes to inject himself into everything..I.e. all the MSU promo ads.
