i feel badly for next year’s seniors bc we are not deep at all but that’s what happens when every year’s success is based on immediate impact of transfers.

If I were coming in as coach, I’d want a minimum of 5 years on the contract. This rebuild will be more like what Nehlen had to do after Cignetti.

And it took Don just two years.

I disagree to some extent. We will be young but the talent is there. Plus we will have an experienced offensive line. With the right catch things may not be as bad as you think they will be.

And remember, WVU thrives in the underdog role.

I believe that a change in coaches will bring a change in attitude and grit among the
players that will be reflected with a much more spirited performance on the field.
Some solid returnees on both sides of the ball. A good transfer Qb could ring
a better year in 2019 than most expect.

David Long coming back would have helped. Hopefully with his departure some of the linebackers can get and STAY healthy and begin to produce.

As with all regime changes, there will be attrition. Hopefully those that do leave or are asked to leave are not those that have produced or look to be in line to produce.

I agree on 5 years but not a total rebuild dependant on offensive defensive schemes. Their is talent on both sides of ball. They said that lb transfer from bama is a beast. If jack Allison or trey Lowe or a good grad transfer like Shane buechele, or Jalen hurts which are long shots we be just fine

Agree. It’s not a major rebuild. A coach that has it together can come in and produce within two years. There’s talent on the team, but qb is a major question mark. A strong D and solid play in the trenches will help the first couple of years.

It’s not a total rebuild. WVU has a lot of talent. The cupboard is not bare at all

Shane Buechele has major pocket presence problems and his body language is an issue because players take note on how their QB reacts.

Buechele is a solid backup but his numbers were put up in a simplistic offense.
The veer and shoot has maybe two progressions at the most.

I doubt he leaves.
He doesn't have dreams of playing in the NFL and he is happy backing up Sam Ehlinger.
