Not even close. Gardner Web dominated the game and it was never competitive. Plus you knew it wasn't going to get better throughout the season. This will get better plus we are up 2 dozen if we just hit lay ups. We've missed at least a couple dozen of those. The effort and talent is there but they have to learn the difference between high school and college.
Tubby didn’t leave because guys like Humphries went to go play in Australia. He left because we had 12 of them. We could use a couple guys like him to go along with the 5 star freshmen.
Can you deny how bad they looked in the first half? I liked what I saw in the second half much better, but this team needs to improve a great deal. Otherwise, I can see some really embarrassing losses.

5 freshmen started. It was the first game of the season...One year Cal had a team that barely beat Miami of Ohio, early in the season took a buzzer beater by John Wall. Team went 35-3. These guys will be fine. They will lose several early, but don't panic, remember some of Cal's team sucked early then went on a run to FF
Wall, Cousins, Bledsoe and Patterson were down 18 points to a terrible Miami Oh team. Stuff happens with a young team.

I was not totally surprised at all by this performance in the first half.They improved a little in the second half,baby steps big blue nation,and patience.
True. But I'm not sure this team has anyone on the level of Wall and Cousins. Hope they can get it together in time to make a run.

Hopefully as the season progresses, Kentucky will have two good point guards in Green and Alexander.
I think you can believe and it’s no where close to GW. This team won, so look at the game in total. I get as frustrated as any, so I understand your feelings. Yet, again UK won. Yes, be pissed, angry, etc, but UK won.
Imagine a group as young as this, on such a stage, with barely any upper class experience to lead, and tonight happens. Yet, UK won. Relax, UK won. I too, will try.
