IDK, that's why I literally said "I'm not sure if they can keep those stats up… ". Maybe Oscar can do that, but I'll remind you, we play in the SEC and it's going to be really hard to nab 20 rbg while he's sitting on the bench in foul trouble.
Yea I’m being facetious. If Tshiebwe averages 20 rebounds per game, that’s more than Shaq and David Robinson. Would put him in class with players like Artis Gilmore.

I think some of you may be may putting to much faith in Sharpe playing this year. He has not practiced with this team at all and will be behind in conditioning. Just because he is the #1 player for next year does not mean that he will be better than some on this team. I have only seen him play once on TV and he was good but not great in that game. JMO

Brooks needs to be a backup for Toppin. If Cal wants to win, he’s going to need to make that change and put his loyalty to the side.
Definitely.

I would go even farther and say if Collins can continue to improve, Cal needs to go with a Toppin/Collins rotation at the 4 over Brooks.

Toppin is a better all around player and is significantly better on the defensive end and Collins gives us something Brooks cannot and that’s shot blocking. Collins starts knocking down 3’s to go with his running the floor and catching lobs and blocking shots, there’s really nothing Brooks gives us as a backup 4 that Collins can’t give us.

When Sharpe gets here the **** will hit the fan. Kid will score at will. This team will be unbeatable. We will play even faster. I could see him scoring 16 a game. He will be the missing go to guy. His defense is awesome. Sharpe will be playing over 20 minutes a game. His poop won’t stink. Can’t wait to see what car he will be driving. Chick magnet. Team player. High % shooter. 5 rebounds a game and 4 assist. Better than any guard we had in a loooong time.
“When?” These assumptions are what disappointments are made of. It’s a hard “if” as of now. Feels like diallo all over again, granted with more upside

20 rebounds in 1 game is astonishing, he’s now done it in two consecutive games and one of those games was agsinst a big front line.

I suspect he can continue to do it against these mid majors we'll be playing for a while, but if he can continue to do it against the heavier hitters we have coming up, we have a real shot to get to conference play with only a couple losses.

Wheeler can certainly keep up his assists pace, he’s just that kind of a guard and we have good shooters.

Yeah. Collins needs confidence. He couldn’t play in that duke game, you could tell he wasn't ready, but these tuneup games will certainly help with that. He's a pogo stick.

I'd maybe continue to start Brooks and hope he can eventually get there, he has shown flashes. But yank him the first time he misses an assignment on D or does the disappearing act. I have no reason to believe this but could see him be a chemistry issue if his starting spot is pulled.

I'm not sure if we should be cutting down Brooks for his lack of rebounding, I mean, Oscar is not just outrebounding the opponent, he's also snatching them in front of our guys too.
