All you need to know about my service is a monthly check from DFAS with calculation based on 28 years of service.

This is a political stunt. These troops legally cannot do anything other than logistics support. Gross misuse of our military, taking them away from exercises and work meant to truly defend America. Media must cover this as the ridiculous, wasteful stunt that it is.

You quoted votevets an organization made up of 600,000 progressive/socialist veterans. Now Google how many veterans there are and you will realize how much in the minority you are. 44 % of the military is made up of "minority races". Yet 7 out 10 usually vote for Republican candidates. Votevets is 600,000 out of 20 million vets. So no not all non white individuals are progressive/socialist as much as you wish that was true. Trump was not elected because of "whitey" alone. As far as who I voted for--I did a write in for Alfred O. Landon. Mr Landon had the dubious distinction of being the Presidential Candidate who lost by the largest margin in our history. Lost to FDR.
Mr. Trump and Mrs. Clinton, imo, are both losers and I did not support either of them. I voted for Mr Landon again in the Presidential Election to signify my thoughts as to the capabilities of Trump and Clinton.
