Tennessee is a good team but really not on our level. Cal may have thrown this one to get our guys focused for the Championship run. Just need to turn a few screws and crusie to the championship. Tweak time baby.
Not on our level. They have won the past two against us.

Oh for sure Cal threw the game...called me this morning and also told me to lay 100,000 grand on letting Tennessee win by more than 5 along with the fact that Oscar would also foul out

I'd prefer to win the SEC tournament and continue that streak into the NCAA tournament. Losses don't need to happen to refocus teams.
Sure they do. It humbles young kids, its been proven over and over again. Like the Zags going in undefeated, UK going in undefeated, Wichita St going in undefeated. They needed a loss and didn't take one in their conference tourney. Maybe we needed a shot in the arm.

I can see what you mean, but if I had a preference between winning vs losing to see what needs to be worked on, I'm taking the win every time. You can still see what needs to be changed after wins, too, but I won't disagree that wakeup calls aren't always bad things.

I agree, I'd rather win for sure, just makes me take the loss a little easier telling myself that stuff lol.
