********. That was a pathetic performance and the coaches and players should all have their asses kicked. We are not a top 25 team. TCU is one of the worst defensive teams in the country and we couldn’t make a ******** layup. We stunk it up and there is no excuse.
You can’t tell these guys that, we should win every game, you know like duke, uk, ku, and unc do. I mean our recruiting is right on par with theirs.
Yeah, and how good of a season is Kentucky and UNC having? About like us, or worse........
My point is that we should settle down with this "oh we suck" posts.......we will be FINE! RELAX!
On a night when WVU couldn't hit the side of a barn, it loses by only 9. Worse performance of the year. But Texas performance was awesome. Big 12 is a dogfight every game. More chaos and jubilation to come. It's college basketball. Move on. Enjoy the 16 good victories. A lot of teams don't have that many. We'll see what happens next games..
Successful season IMO with a sweet 16. We are not the top ten team people think we are though. Id put us top 20-25.
Maybe you really were part of the media because that is some intellectual dishonesty right there. Only lost by 9? WVU was down by 20 with like 4 minutes to go in the game. That was a blow out, that was an @$$-whooping and TCU just had to cruise to the win. WVU was outplayed and outhustled. Trying to use an isolated stat to push forward the narrative you want instead of the reality of what happened.
Oh, it was the worst disaster of the season. But I prefer to smile over frowning. I'm happier that way. Still 16-4, but 3 L's in 4 games IS disturbing. March Madness is all that counts now.
Geez! It’s freaken January. WVU is a solid top 20 team. Games like this happen. UNC just got man handled by VaTech. Virginia is ranked #2 for goodness sakes. WVU ***** slapped them. Relax dude.

Teddy Allen got into the game and for that I am glad. On the other hand, TCU seemed to block every shot Teddy threw at the rim. What's up wiff that? Is Teddy that slow to get the shot off or what? One possible cause it that the Big12 teams all have tall trees guarding the paint...Teddy does much better against guys his own size, or those slow of foot...that ended when conference games picked up the pace...
And just how many reports of jumpers from the bridges around Morgantown were there last night? Sheesh! This wasn't half as bad as Kansas, that was a total team choke job.
3 of 4 L's is disturbing. UK should be the telling game for us. W and we are back on track. L and this team could go into the dumper.

Yeah my bad OSU. Sentence screw up on the fly. Meant about UVA. WVU handled them and they’re #2. VaTech handled UNC and they were #10. Main point was ya play good teams on the road these crap outings show up sometimes. Thanks for clarification. I’ll edit.

Chris Holtmann is doing a fantastic job in Columbus. Ohio State was picked to finish 11th or 12th in the B1G, but is 9-0 in conference play. Nobody expected this, due to the late coaching change, and depleted roster. Keita Bates-Diop, who was injured for most of last season, is a national player of the year candidate, Jae'Sean Tate is the best 6'4" low-post player that you'll ever see, and Kaleb Wesson is a fantastic frosh and beast down low. Having stated this, I expect a lack of depth, especially in the backcourt, to result in some losses going forward. I'm not sure that Ohio State is the 13th best team in the Country, but the Buckeyes have deserved their ranking to this point.

It was a quick turn around, away game with a difference in time zones. We were flat and standing around. Texas, UVA & Okla were great. TCU & Kansas sucked. We are manic depending on shots falling. Except for Konate. He is the David Long of the B.B. team. He brings it every play.

I’m not sure why this “is an embarrassment”? Some of you guys expect too much. We play above our heads every year because we have one of the alltime great coaches. If we had Shaquille O’Neal, LeBron James etc I could see your point. However, we don’t. Have any of you followed recruiting? We don’t exactly light it up with blue chip recruits. Be happy we do what we do. Until we get better players, this will happen. My god, look how far we’ve come. You want to complain? Think where we came from with the utter failure of the Gale Catlett era. It can be worse. A lot worse.
