I wonder if on her new six-figure congressional salary she will pay the top 39.5% tax rate? Or will she seek as many legal deductions as possible paying as little on her new six figure salary as she legally can while she promotes a 70% tax rate on anyone who makes a dollar above her six-figure taxpayer-supported salary?

Will the Left demand to see her tax returns also?

So, in other words, you don't know what she proposed. BTW, it was a new 70% bracket that would kick in for earned income over $10 million dollars. It would have impacted something like 16k people in 2017. I'm not saying that's a good solution in order to fund much of what she is proposing, but it's also not what it's been portrayed by many on the right. Scott Walker was telling kids about how it would be like earning $10 for doing some work for your grandparents, then having your parents take $7 of it. I think Rep Hoyer made the same kind of comment about taking 70% of earnings.

If someone who is smart enough to earn 10 million a year paid 10% on that income and she paid 10% on her income the one who made more money would still pay 10 times more than her! How come that's not enough?

She and no Socialist has a right to demand 70% of someone else's earnings unless they think the money belongs to the government instead of the person who earned it.

But of course that's what most Socialists believe anyway so how can you really be upset with her?

What I understand my friend is the money you and I earn belongs to us and not the government. If 10% is good enough for Jesus it's good enough for Uncle Sam too.[winking]

She won't voluntarily send in a dime extra but she demands that folks who make way more than her send in just about everything they earn.

I'm not saying that she's a regular Arnold Einstein. She has her bad moments too. Shoot, I was pointing out her ridiculous comment about being morally right was more important than facts. There are plenty of good ways to go at her and make her look bad. Using her philosophy of disregarding facts just makes people look worse than her.
