I wouldn't be surprised if Kiffen and Coach O already have a plan in place to return to USC as Head and Associate Head Coaches. Get the gang back together, party it up in LA and dominate the PAC12. The way USC kicked Helton to the curb after just two games tells me that they have a plan in place already and I can't see what else it could possibly be.

Kiffin has a laid back personality, similar to Carroll. And....he can definitely coach some football. What happened to him 10 years ago is irrelevant because he was saddled with probation, anybody with a brain knows this. HOWEVER....Kiffin may turn them down, who knows how bitter he may be, and he may like being in the SEC. If Ole Miss survives this one, after Texas didn't hire him, I doubt he goes anywhere else.

Kiffin is perfect for schools like USC/Texas/Ole Miss.....that love perception. He just has a way of dealing with it well.

Kiffen’s career SEC record is 8-9. He’s still never even had a winning season overall as a head coach in the SEC. Maybe pump the brakes a bit on the Bama / USC talk.

A loss just might cost the shirt ripper his job but a win just kicks the can down the road. If he gets past this one he has several more 'make or break' games to go such as Kentucky, Auburn, Arkansas, maybe UM. I really do not see him surviving this season.

This game is important but not critical for Leach. A win might restore a bit of optimism for the program and put us back on track for a bowl but a loss will not threaten anybody's job.

Orgeron recruited that whole team. He had been there as a head coach for 2 years before that, and as assistant for 2 before that (in addition to interim coach during 1 of those). He gets credit for it, he is a national championship caliber coach. He stayed in his lane, and stuck to his strengths as a people person/recruiter, and it paid off.

But instead of sticking with that, he got cocky, hired inexperienced coordinators, and tried to insert himself into everything, and now it's falling apart.

Dabo showed him the blueprint. Chizik would probably still be at Auburn had he done the same thing. Remember when he ran Malzahn off and hired some clown that wanted to run it up the middle 3 times x punt? Idiotic. These guys just can't get out of the way of their own ego. Croom falls into this category.

We will never truly know what Eddie could have done at Ole Miss, had he just let coordinators coach. You see the team he left for Nutt, they only beat the eventual national champions at their own stadium.
