FWIW: Just because he says he isn’t leaving doesn’t mean he can’t be forced out for right amount of $.

After the way he disengaged about 1/3 of the fan base and essentially told Cohen and Keenum to their face in front of TV cameras that HE will decide when he leaves, you cannot have that. If they let him stay now he has anointed himself above both of them and the Employers(Alumni and Ticket holders). You have to cut him off at his knees to keep him and that makes him a full fledged lame duck, not only getting paid for another year but also getting a buyout next year. Cohen has to show he is the boss. If he doesn’t Keenum will have to. If he doesn’t, the Fans need to contact the IHL Board and ask for a NO Confidence Vote in both.

This kind of crap gets old to me. Every single press conference he’s had this year has been nitpicked to death. He’s either disengaged or out of control according to you experts, and I’m convinced there is literally nothing he can say or do that will please some of you since your mind is already made up about things.

I come to the board to hear more Ole Miss piss jokes only to find grown men whining about a coach that will potentially have the best winning pct ever (pending a bowl win) at our storied football program. I don’t recall Mullen winning multiple natties before he left. I don’t recall Matt Luke being in the home team’s locker room last night either.
Sure, we should have done better. Everybody expected more. And the offensive guru looks more like a hobbiest.
But, he will be the coach next year. The defense will be much improved. We will have a capable QB with a year to work with JoMo and the receivers (for the first time) - and Lord knows we will not get any worse on Offense regardless of your tainted perception - it’s just not possible.
So, shut your yappers, enjoy the most embarrassing loss our main recruiting threat has ever had while they continue their path with the most unqualified coach in the SEC, and try to embrace that there is a glimmer of potential.
For those that will continue to disparage JoMo, through the off-season, I can only hope that you have better seats than me so I can have them next year. Although your points about JoMo are clearly validated, they do nothing to help the team at this point. Period. Dig deep. Get wooly. 17 Ole Miss.

I want you to walk into your bosses office on Monday and tell him to go 17 himself. Tell him He can’t fire you and the only way you are leaving is if he drags your *** out. I dare you to do that! I double dog dare you to do that! You ain’t got the balls because you know he will not only fire you, he will have security do exactly what you asked. Drag your *** out.

I am more pissed about his psycho presser than his pitiful coaching style. WE, the donors and ticket holders are his boss. Not just the 1/2 or even 2/3 that accept mediocrity and revel in it, but all 100% who donate and buy tickets.

Beating Ole Miss was like beating Mississippi Valley. They aren’t our equals. Even though State was the team wearing the SWAC level uniforms last night, Ole Miss is the SWAC level talent. A freaking 3 toed Sloth should have been able to coach State to a win over the Reb....Bea.....Shar..... oh heck.... whatever they are going by this week!

He wasn't addressing Cohen nor the President. He was addressing the noise. He thanked the AD, the University and the players.... and the MAJORITY of the fans. That last part should tell you something. If you can't figure that out.... let me know .

Sorry you can’t comprehend, but we, the donors and ticket holders are his bosses. Not just those of you who love the mediocrity, but also those of us who don’t like mediocrity. You can call us noise all you want be he is still our employee just as much as he is yours. And you can bet your little pink panties, I will continue to donate, buy tickets, and go to the Bowl Game to support Mississippi State University, and if he is still the coach, I will criticize his poor play calling even if we win, and criticize his coaching style if we lose.

I just believe he is NOT the right fit for Mississippi State. If he wins the bowl, beats a few teams worth a crap next year, and wins 8 games(9 with a bowl), I might soften on him some.

This is the SEC! It just means more!

Moorhead's "bosses" don't cry and whine 24/7 on message boards and try to get him replaced with a totally unproven Sunbelt coach despite Moorhead having basically the exact same win % as Dan Mullen had at MSU. Only people without power ***** and complain all the time about something they can't really influence.

With all due respect, you are one of the most emotional posters here. I remember your temporary ban after your raging and threatening rants after MSU was bounced from the CWS. When you don’t get your way, you seem to go off the rails. Do yourself a favor and back away until you get your wits back.
