#1 - when Martinez has a clean pocket he does pretty good.
#2 - since Martinez can and has scrambled for big yards, defensive coordinators will prioritize containing him over pressuring him.
#3 - this should allow us to maintain the pocket a little longer, and see #1.

I rewatched a highlights video of the whole game on YouTube. Buffalo walked a linebacker up to the line and he stunted between the center and guard gap. Dude ran through it untouched numerous times. Even the running backs did a poor job of picking up the blitzer or even recognizing it. These immediately become busted plays that we hope we can turn into something positive. Not a great strategy.

Our blitzers almost always get picked up and stopped immediately.
