What if you go 20 or 30 years with no DUI, wrecks, fender benders, or speeding tickets. Are you a dangerous driver?

Progress scares some folks.

Traditions are cool but sometimes they need to be expanded and updated
Completely agree with both of these statements. It's time for MSU baseball to take the next step and once again make Dudy Noble Field the greatest place in the country to watch a college baseball game.

They are all the super-loyal ones in LFL that can't afford $300-500 per person per year for improved versions of the LFL spots they've had for pennies for decades. You can't change lfl!!1!1 Nevermind the fact that it's actually been evolving since inception.

This is the REAL LFL, not this bastardization we've got now!!1! View attachment 2019

The guy in white shirt standing in back of the truck facing the field with his hands raised high sure looks like John Grisham

I didn't miss a home game this year. Of course, I'm in the press box, so my situation is different than the average fan.

How many games do you attend?

Every week end series. Pre SEC and SEC. I live 70 miles from the stadium. Hard to make week day games.

Do you own a chairback seat?

All properly designed structures aren't designed normal loading. They are designed more for a situation closer to worst case scenario - dead load, live load (high occupancy), wind load, ice load, snow load, seismic load, etc. All those LFL structures are probably more than adequate for 99% of the crowds DNF will experience, but you have to be covered beyond that. Just because we've managed to get by so far doesn't mean there isn't a high risk of failure on a SBW weekend Saturday. We should consider ourselves lucky and move on. I'm an engineer, and I've walked though the LFL. I have to say that some of those things just don't pass the eye test. I sure wouldn't want to be the one responsible if something bad happens.

Did you not read my answer? Why would I own a chairback seat? Not to mention I was 11 when those contracts were signed.

You would buy one or two to support the program. Seats have become available through out the years.

A. You think I should buy a seat that I would never use?

B. What does that have to do with anything?

Genius, I work in the media. I can't be a Bulldog Club member or donate money. Why is this not getting through?

I told you I understand.

But can't help but picture "free ride" while putting down others.

It is what it is.

just curious, You can't be in the BC if you are in the Media? And you can't donate Money. What about your wife, can she? I find it funny that you would be critical of fans that have paid money and done what they can to support MSU but you get a free ride and don't pay ****.

A) My wife doesn't give a **** about MSU sports. I don't know if she could or not, but I know that she wouldn't. But that said, I'm not going to do anything that might infringe upon my ability to do my job.

B) How am I getting a free ride? As long as I have this job, I'll never sit in the lounge or any premium seating.

There is no answer that is going to satisfy the crowd that does not want to change LFL. Maybe we should move it over to the Softball field and take it out of the new stadium all together. We get to have a new cool baseball stadium and they get to keep their trailers in a new spot that probably could use it.

Damn... this sounds like the Ole Miss fan who was giving **** years ago and told me I didn't have an opinion because I didn't give as much money to MSU as they did to TSUN.

If you are gonna pull that card then your stadium is going to have a lot of empty seats.

Apparently we will still need the extra green wall...

View attachment 2024View attachment 2025

Besides the fact that the renderings don't show the Templeton (?) building, seems we could have done something to not need that extra green wall. We should just paint that side of that building green.

The G spot sounded much better than section 7. But I moved to 6 anyway so it wasn't that big of a deal to me.

Boo 17ing hoo on not being able to sit in the Lounge. Just what is your Job? I know writers that still contribute to their School.

You know sports writers who contribute to schools that they cover? List them.

I used to be a season ticket holder in football and basketball. I stopped doing that when I took this job.

Where's my list?

I'm going to throw up from laughing when he says Gene Swindoll.

At least GS has season tickets and His Wife is a bulldog Fan. I just don't see how He can bash people for what they give and then admit He doesn't give ****.Because he is some Media person. There are plenty of MSU fans that don't want to give up the LFL. I don't like sitting in the LFL, I like to sit in chair backs and watch the game. But the LFL in unique to MSU and why you know it all 17ers want to bash people that wants to keep it is beyond Me. Oh and I'm not giving you a list. But I know a couple and they find ways to contribute to their Schools. Why would anyone care if somebody who works for Bulldog Radio has season tickets or is in the BC?

You need to get out more.

HD6 has probably done as much or more to benefit Mississippi State athletics and its fans over the past four years than any single person not employed by the school. Bulldog Sports Radio allows fans who don't live in Mississippi to follow our favorite teams on a daily basis. Bulldog fans literally all over the world get daily updates, analysis, background info, etc.

I live 8 hours from Starkville yet I know the names of our players on every MSU team, including golf and tennis, thanks to HD6 and the BSR network and its FREE. Even Bob says good things every now and then.

You should check it out.

So if someone marries a non-MSU fan that makes them a bad fan? Please gtfo. Gene doesn't purchase season tickets I know this as 100% fact, nor does Mary Ann.

If he did, he wouldn't be able to speak with recruits at all.
