Cam and Adrian laughing it up with the Wisconsin payers after losing their 8th game. Glad they are having a good time after a loss.

I don't see how being a miserable ******* and treating the opponent badly after the game would be a sign of character. They played hard, and they lost. Alternatively, screaming profanity at the opposing fans or trashing the locker room wouldn't send a message at all, except maybe that they had zero emotional intelligence or maturity.

There is a balance. IMO, Adrian is way too even keeled for my liking. I would go shake hands but after another gut punch like that there is no way I'm even smiling at an opponent.

They don't know what pain associated with losing is because they have always lost.

I'm sure they don't like it, but they're definitely used to it. I firmly believe that there is inertia to both winning and losing. Every game we lose it makes it easier to "take" and less devastating. At this point I'm sure the pain of losing really doesn't exist for these guys.

This goes for fans as well. I was emotionless as I sat down at the TV for the 4th quarter. Laughed at the arm punt even. I don't really care anymore but they have way more invested than I do

As soon as they started the last drive, I looked at my wife and said, "lets see how they screw this up..." Was not disappointed.

Nobody said to be disrespectful. But if you’re even able to laugh immediately after that game it shows you aren’t very hurt by the outcome. That’s the problem.

It's interesting how things have changed. I used to get really mad and down in the dumps when we lost. I enjoyed the game last night, but I expected they would lose and I was completely fine afterward. Even had a good time with some friends. Nebraska football is a joke.

That is youth today ..it is not AM or Cam but all millenials. When we won lost in HS we acted like someone died. This is the era of trophies, for all, non- aggression etc. Kids also play AAU and don't live and die for HS ball in many sports. They just learn to accept losing a bit better than we did in the old days. Also, lets not act like this game was for a trophy or bowl game. Frankly I give Frost credit that the team played that well and aggressive given that they are playing for nothing.

I think they may just laydown on Friday although at home their will be some inherent emotion to play well. Let's see. Maybe a long game if Tanner doesn't play along with Toure, Williams, Payne, and anyone else who might be "banged up".

Urban Meyer would have retired 3 times, had two trips to the hospital, and visited about 20 nightclubs just this season alone if he were associated with this team.

Come on.

This team should have rolled over weeks ago, yet they keep playing hard. Ohio State mugged a 9-1 Sparty team yesterday. We played those guys to the wire just last week, and came back to play a team that has pounded us a number of times in B10 play the following week.

It is sad that the kids actually playing the game can separate winning and losing a crap ton more than the supposed adults watching them.

I am not complaining about it ...just stating what I see. My kids are 29 and 32 and they played sports in HS and I saw the approach that they and their friends had.

Yeah I don't think they give a **** about winning. Just keep it close and not get embarrassed is all this team cares about. Yet 3-9 is orders of magnitude more embarrassing than any blowout loss.

Agree to a point.

My boys are 19 and 22. Played the whole summer circuit of basketball, baseball, 7on7 football for years where competing was all that mattered and the end result really didn't.

But they did care when they played High School ball because it actually mattered. Nobody enjoys losing. They all became friends with those they played with and against over those hundreds of games. They learned to separate on the field winning and being friends or a good person after the game.

I hated all my high school rivals. I then became friends with a number of those guys I hated years later. The kids now just got a much earlier progression.
