Have you ever heard any of the coaches say that they had a terrible week of practice? So either the coaches aren't always forthcoming about how the team is really doing or all of those great practices for whatever reason aren't translating into on the field success.

Not exactly sure what the OP is trolling for, but we had an article not too long ago where the headline was stated like this:

https://nebraska.rivals.com/news/monday-nuggets-tackling-still-a-work-in-progress-for-blackshirts

So when certain things aren't going as well, they are usually stated as being a process of some sort. They can't come out and say, things sucked or approach it negatively. We are talking about practice right?
Remember how many great practices we have had over the years, yet why doesn't the product on the field show it?

Some times, **** happens.

Ever watch the olympics? Think about a gymnast or skater who practices for a life time and falls? Hell Shaun White is considered the greatest snow boarder of all time and despite what were probably “great practice” runs, he fell on his final Olympic run.

No one actually gives a **** about any of this, it’s all ********. Wake me up at end of August.

At the very least this year, we have a different QB and OL coach and OC that actually calls the plays. Hopefully that translates to something.. anything
